The new _et_dynamic_video_check is resulting in an HTTP requests for every URL in the content (image src, internal links, etc) due to the oembed discovery. This was resulting in a huge spike in Apache connections causing my server to fail. The oembed call should be conditional (do not run for URLs with the same domain, only run for video file types, etc).

I can confirm that I’ve also seen this issue where it overloaded my apache server while it was continuously trying to open pages. I needed to revert back to the previous version. Warning to anyone using this build.
